In July 2011 I started a three year FWF-Schrödinger/FP7-Marie Curie funded project on manufacture and usage of Bronze Age defensive armour in Eastern Europe. The project is carried out at the DCCI (Dipartimento di Chimica e Chimica Industriale) in Genoa, Italy. I will document and study all Bronze Age defensive armour in the museums concerned; the samples will be analysed at the DCCI.
